How Clarespath protects you when you use this site — and what it cannot do.
Nothing about you, by default. Clarespath does not require an account, log-in, or email address. The interactive tool stores your answers in your browser's working memory only — they vanish the moment you close the tab or press Safe Exit.
While you are using the tool, your answers sit in a single object in your browser. When you press Safe Exit or close the tab, that object is destroyed. We have no copy. We cannot retrieve your session.
If you choose to download a summary at the end, the file is written to your device only. Clarespath never receives it.
Visiting any website leaves traces on your device, in your browser history, and on your network — including a Wi-Fi router or a workplace network. The Safe Exit button and the Esc key reduce this risk by taking you straight to a neutral page, but they cannot erase everything.

Safe Exit replaces the current page with a neutral cover page, and removes the current page from your browser's forward/back history. It does not:
Clarespath sets no cookies for tracking. WordPress itself may set a small number of essential cookies (e.g. session cookies for site administrators logging in). None of these contain personal information about a visitor.
